Quick start

Sign up, create your company, connect a tool, create a feature and connect an AI assistant.

Follow these five steps to go from sign-up to your first feature.

Go to seamtrail.com and click Get started.

Sign in with Google.

Create your company

If nobody invited you, SeamTrail asks you to create your company.

  1. Type your company name.
  2. Click Create company.

SeamTrail creates your company and its first org. You are the Admin of both.

Want the first org to have a different name? Click Give the first org a different name before you create it.

Does your team already use SeamTrail?

Ask them to invite you instead. An invite puts you straight into their org.

Connect a tool

  1. Open your org's Settings → Tools.
  2. Next to a tool, click Connect.
  3. Approve SeamTrail in that tool.

This is the org's connection. SeamTrail uses it for background work, like reading changes.

Each person can also add their own login in their own Settings → Connections. SeamTrail uses it for what that person does, like linking a ticket. So nobody sees more than their tools allow.

A good start is Jira + Confluence, Slack and GitHub. See Integrations for every tool.

Create a feature

  1. Open Features and click + Add new.
  2. Type a name, for example "UPI at Checkout".
  3. Click Create. You become the feature's Admin.

Now link its work. Click + Add and pick what to link: the spec in Confluence, the Jira epic, the Slack channel, the GitHub repo.

Then add your teammates in the Participants panel. Only people on a feature can open it.

Connect an AI assistant

In Claude Code, run:

claude mcp add --transport http seamtrail https://mcp.seamtrail.com/mcp

Then type /mcp, pick seamtrail and click Authenticate. Your browser opens. Sign in and click Allow.
